Firearms officers deliver groundbreaking anti-gun and knife crime presentations

On 16 and 17 June 2010 a team of South Yorkshire Police firearms officers delivered two groundbreaking presentations as part of the Guns and Knives Take Lives initiative. The first was delivered to over 100 pupils at Doncaster School for the Deaf, and was the presentation delivered for the first time using sign language interpreters. The second presentation, at High Storrs School, saw the Guns and Knives Take Lives initiative reach the landmark of 50,000 audience members to have experienced the presentation since January 2007.
