Resources
The South Yorkshire Police Guns and Knives Take Lives presentation is available to every secondary school in the county. Our primary audience is year 9 students, however depending upon capacity and demand we are sometimes able to present to other year groups and audiences.
We are keen to offer further support to schools and youth support organisations in South Yorkshire after we have delivered the Guns and Knives Take Lives presentation. Below you can download various resources and literature.

Healthy Schools
February 2009 saw the Healthy Schools accreditation being awarded to the project, promoting the link between good health, behaviour and achievement in schools.
The Guns and Knives Take Lives project directly supports elements of the Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) curriculum within secondary schools. This curriculum is designed to promote Personal Wellbeing and the ability of young people to make informed choices. This covers risk management and healthy lifestyles at Key Stage 3 & 4. This now also links to the Government’s ‘Every Child Matters’ agenda.
